Serving the Trans Community

The Trans Health Collective is an organization working towards healthcare accessibility for all trans people. Currently, our focus is on DIY HRT education and distribution. We are here to help you access the medications you need to affirm your own gender, presentation, and identity.

Access to HRT is becoming more restricted across the US. Our goal is to offset the harm being done by this, and allow all trans people to live their best lives despite restricted institutional access to these life-saving medications. We can distribute HRT to anyone, including and especially for free, though we welcome donations from those who are able to give.

Accessing HRT

If you are looking for help accessing HRT and are unable to get a prescription from your primary care provider or an endocrinologist, consider looking into informed consent providers before turning to DIY. While DIY is an important option for which we will always advocate, it is usually better and safer to get medication through official channels when possible. To check for informed consent clinics near you, you can use this fantastic resource from Erin Reed. We recommend only pursuing DIY if you've exhausted all other options.

If you decide to move forward with DIY, or you just want to know more about your options, you're in the right place. If you are confused, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, please reach out! We are always here to talk through options if you prefer talking to another trans person over reading through resources on your own. Otherwise, for more information about the risks and benefits of DIY, as well as information about acquiring it for yourself, check out our resources page. If you want us to help you get HRT, if you have any other questions, or if you'd just rather talk to someone about DIY, feel free to contact us - we're here to help.

Help or Contribute

If you'd like to donate to our fund, enabling us to continue providing free HRT to economically disadvantaged trans people, check out our donations page.

If you are looking to get into homebrewing, you can also reach out; we have helped multiple homebrew operations get up and running in different cities across the US, including sourcing equipment and ingredients, and we're always looking for more. The more homebrewers there are, the more resilient our community is to indiviudal brewers shutting down.
